1. They try to do impressively cultured architectural walking tours. They barely succeed in making it past the first street before: straying, getting distracted by shoes, food, drinks, money, lack of money, lack of sunglasses, price of sunglasses, unnecessary buildings. They don't appreciate narrow lanes as much as they should. They like the idea of coffee breaks. They really like the idea of Sangria breaks. They drink Sangria for breakfast.
2. They visit the Sagrada Familia twice and look upon it in awe. They take about 7000 photos between them. They decide that too much colour co-ordination is a bad thing. They love Gaudi and decide that, sometimes, symmetry is overrated.
3. They wake late, drink Sangria for lunch and make scenes in super cool tapas joints. They take silly photos and wonder why Barcelona has an Arc de Triomphe. Apparently the Barcelonians also wonder the same thing. They don't recall any triumph worth building an arc in honour of. They also wonder about electric diode candles in churches. They agree that it's not so spiritual.
4. They drink Sangria for dinner. They switch to triple shot gin and tonics after midnight. They take photos of glassware.
5. They dance till 6am and approach random people to discuss physics and aeronautical engineering while leaving nightclubs. They leave people confused.
6. They have a bloody great time.
